WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW & DO

Scorebook

All trialing dogs must have a scorebook issued by the USMRA or by an approved organization.  Your first step is to apply for a scorebook through USMRA or to report your existing scorebook

Sociability test

All trialing dogs must have successfully completed a Sociability test. You can email your Sociability file to the Dog ID Document team any time after applying for or reporting your scorebook

rabies vaccine

All trialing dogs must submit current proof of rabies vaccination.  You can email latest proof of rabies vaccine to the Dog ID Document team any time after applying for or reporting your scorebook

Vet check

All male trialing dogs must have a vet verify that both testicles are present & descended.  You can email this form to the Dog ID Document team any time after applying for or reporting your scorebook

ORDER A BOOK FROM USMRA or
SUBMIT EXISTING BOOK DETAILS

All dogs must have an approved scorebook to compete in USMRA trials.  Whether you are ordering a new scorebook from USMRA or simply reporting an existing scorebook issued through an approved organization, you should start here.  Here’s what you’ll need:

ACCEPTED SCOREBOOKS

Dogs must present one of the following accepted scorebooks to compete in a USMRA trial.  If you will be using a scorebook issued by an approved organization (rather than ordering a scorebook from USMRA) you should enter those scorebook details above.

SOCIABILITY TEST

All dogs must have successfully passed an approved sociability test in order to compete in USMRA trials. You can email a copy of an approved sociability test to the Dog ID Document team for review.

Please put your dog’s registered name (exactly as it appears in our records) in the subject line. Put your dog’s registered name and a description of any files attached (sociability, rabies, etc.) Attach relevant file(s) to the email. You will receive a confirmation email back when your document has been reviewed and your dog’s record has been updated.  It may take up to five days to review your documents and update your file.

It is prudent to also keep a copy of the Sociability test with the Scorebook.

ACCEPTED SOCIABILITY TESTS

The following sociability test are accepted by USMRA.

UPDATED RABIES VACCINATION RECORDS

All owners must provide proof of the dog’s current rabies vaccination in order for the dog to compete in USMRA trials. You can email a copy of your dog’s most recent rabies vaccination record to the Dog ID Document team for review.

Please put your dog’s registered name (exactly as it appears in our records) in the subject line. Put your dog’s registered name and a description of any files attached (sociability, rabies, etc.) Attach relevant file(s) to the email. You will receive a confirmation email back when your document has been reviewed and your dog’s record has been updated. It may take up to five days to review your documents and update your file.

It is prudent to also keep a copy of proof of current rabies vaccination with the Scorebook.

VET CHECK

All male dogs must have completed and returned the Veterinary Certificate confirming that they are in possession of two apparently normal and fully descended testicles.

There is an exception for unregistered (non-FCI) dogs and for dogs who trialed at MR1, MR2, or MR3 prior to November 1st, 2023.

You can email a copy of the completed form to the Dog ID Document team for review.
